The Too Much TV Roundup- 06/26/23

Paramount Plus is purging again. This time, I won’t be burned by saying everything has already been removed. The biggest cancellation/removal is Inside Amy Schumer. The rest are some documentaries, Paramount Plus original movies (Snow Day and Fantasy Football), and a bunch of Nickelodeon shows, only two of which I had even heard of. Well, The CW finally made some choices. They’ve axed Gotham knights, but are keeping All American homecoming and Superman and Lois. Also, heartbreaking news that Treat Williams was killed in a motorcycle accident at the age of 71. Those who check out the roundup semi-frequently might have noticed I’ve been rewatching Everwood. He will always be Dr. Andy Brown for me. Since I’ve started rewatching the show, I’ve lost two Everwood cast members. I watched way too much TV yesterday. i know a lot of these are half hours, but even for me. My God. Yesterday, the first in a trio of finales hit the TV world as Maisel fans said goodbye to their favorite program. Coming up, in less than a week, are the series finales of Succession and Ted Lasso. American idol crowned a winner last night. I’m watching it today.
