Once again I’m running down the sixty shows on my broad watchlist. Joining the list this week, which was fairly slow for new shows, are The Sandman (Netflix), All Of Us Are Dead (Netflix), The Office (Peacock), Such Brave Girls (Hulu), Nautilus (AMC Plus), Dexter (Paramount Plus), and Prison Break (Netflix). Honestly, in television news? I read that Ray Romano has wholeheartedly declined to ever bring back Everybody Loves Raymond. In a world where they keep doing this, most of the time it doesn’t work out. Sure, The Connors is a lone exception, but even that doesn’t have the ratings of the original show, and will fall short of Roseanne’s original run. It’s highly unlikely Paramount Plus is keeping the new Frasier revival around for 11 years. Although, some shows and characters I wouldn’t mind seeing again. Well, in TV news, John Oliver inked a 3 year renewal for Last Week Tonight with HBO. The Traitors: UK is nearing a premiere date. Someone marvelous won Dancing With The Stars. The Critics Choice nominations were so interesting for the TV nominees this year. Ramon Rodriguez slid in for Will Trent over more obvious performers like Brian Cox for Succession.
