The Too Much TV Roundup- 04/06/23

Well, one of my cancellation predictions came true. FOX has pronounced time of death on The Resident to be six seasons. 5) Top Chef (Bravo/Peacock) English Audio Description?: No So, I’m gonna tank one of my long time favorites this week. I thought the way this episode handled a contestant having a severe allergic reaction was a bit callous. They use the drama of the moment just enough to mention it, and have another contestant call for concern, but at no time do we hear anyone from the production team or medical stepping in to make sure her throat doesn’t … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 04/06/23

Well, FOX went ahead and renewed their shittiest shows first, making sure that Alert and Accused joined the already shitty and renewed The Cleaning Lady. I’m being a bit harsh. Instead, she gets bombarded with phrases like “all marriage is rape”, which feels like the kind of statement put in there … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- May 18th

The Too Much TV Roundup- May 11th

I’m starting to enjoy this new format, as it gives me more of an opportunity to have collected thoughts on what I just watched the previous day. Time to reveal just how much television I actually watch. 1) Mr Mayor (NBC/Peacock/Hulu) English Audio Description Available?: Depending on the platform. This is why I like the new format, because it gives me an opportunity to talk about a show I might not have otherwise singled out. But the 9th episode of this shows 2nd Season was hilarious. Spending so much time on jokes about how young people don’t know what mail … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- May 11th
