I think when people initially were buzzing about the Oscar potential for this, they thought it was about the actual Supremes. it is not. It is about three women who are so tight they have a name for themselves. Kind of like The Plastics, but if those girls had gotten to choose their nickname. I saw the upcoming list of shows starting next week, and Virgin River is likely the one most worth mentioning. It’s like, they say they want shows beyond just Marvel and Star Wars, but after cancelling Doogie yesterday, and not moving forward with this… do they? What is the actual plan here to not just fill your streaming service with franchise extensions from those two universes?
