Netflix has ordered 20 episodes of The Ranch, a new multi-cam sitcom featuring Ashton Kutcher and Danny Masterson, who previously starred together in That 70’s Show, from Kutcher’s showrunning buddies at Two and a Half Men. The Ranch is entering an interesting format for Netflix, which is calling the 20 episodes “Season One”, but plans on releasing them in two separate sets of 10, instead of the whole season at the same time. Perhaps this allows for an earlier premiere, while they’re still shooting. The series is projected to debut in 2016.
