As I hinted, this week was going to be primarily devoted to movies with the Oscar’s coming up on Sunday. So, here’s a glance at the 5 shows I squeezed in.

5) American Idol (ABC/Hulu)

English Audio Description?: No

This show needs audio description. I want to know what these people look like. This show lost the day because I hate when the panel of judges tries to tell the world that vibrato is something awful that needs to be killed with fire. It’s the correct way to sing, that girl sounded great, her career will last forever because her tone is focused and she’s using her instrument properly. You know how many times Adele has had vocal nodes? Jesus.

Episode Grade: B+

4) The Rookie (ABC/Hulu)

English Audio Description?: Yes

I might be behind, but they basically knew Elijah’s lawyer was trying to pull some shit.

3) The Recruit (Netflix)

English Audio Description?: Yes

What I assume was the season finale was fantastic, and I can’t wait for Season 2.

2) The LAst Of Us (HBo MAX)

English Audio Description?: Yes

Make sure to eat a big meal before this episode… preferably meat. Lots of meat. You won’t thank me later.

1) Last Week Tonight (HBo MAX)

i live in a certain state where the featured story of the week was this person who is a bane of my existence. unfortunately, I cannot talk about this episode, lest I be considered a political blogger and then have to register with the state (thanks to a bizarre and terrible law being proposed). So, I can’t talk about this episode in great detail. But my love for this has no bounds.
