Well, I heard Netflix’s Love Is blind live reunion special had some technical difficulties last night. So I guess that qualifies as TV news to start your day.
9) Night Court (NBC/Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
This episode centered around the need to restore a very specific bench to the courtroom was not actually funny. It got a little too silly.

8) Reservation Dogs (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
YES! Season 2 has audio description! Finally. I’ve been spacing these damn episodes out so much that when I went to finally watch the 5th episode of season 2, it had audio description. The humor was missing a bit. I did enjoy the two guest speakers brought in, and their nonsense. I loved the one girl who grew up in a city but said her spirit grew up on a reservation. What the hell does that even mean? And she’s coming in and trying to give actual reservation kids advice. Hah.

7) Saturday Night live (NBC/Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
For the first time, i wasn’t a huge fan of the opening sketch. I did laugh at the “rich woman who brought her kid to the park”, but I feel like that was really for New Yorkers. Ana did fine, and my favorite sketch was Mikey Day playing the Spanish teacher who isn’t very good, and got two new Latinx students in his class, whose use of their own language far surpassed their teacher. It really hit home for me, because I remembered being in high school, and there was a Spanish speaking kid in there who was perpetually told he was wrong because Spanish is always Castilian. Now I know that unless I’m talking to someone from Spain, asi asi is dumb.

6) Agent Elvis (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
I think I’m still processing what I just watched. I’m positive this is animated, but I had no idea Matthew mcConaghey and Don Cheadle were in the voice cast. Wow. But, Elvis is fighting crime, and performing. I’m not really sure where this series is going, but opening up that first episode with Elvis fighting off the Manson family was a bold swing.

5) The Weakest Link (NBC/Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
The season premiere saw twins competing, so instead of eight, there were sixteen. A nice gimmick. But some of those missed questions were painful.
Episode Grade: B+
4) Anamaniacs (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Loved this episode. I got a great segment from the Warner siblings that was a send up of supernatural teen dramas, then a Starbox segment, and finally a to be continued Pinky and the Brain which took a Groundhog Day spin.Might just be the best episode of the new season.

3) American Auto (NBC/Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Hackers have stolen some rather personal items from Katherine, who wants the company to pay the ransom. Meanwhile, the jokes from the rest of the gang are pretty good, including one about Crypto, and remembering your password.
Episode Grade: A-
2) Dear Edward (Apple Plus)
English Audio Description?: yes
Last week, I hated Shea’s dad for crushing his daughter’s dreams, and then this episode, I hated Shea for dropping Edward like that. This poor kid has been through so much, and his brother’s ex can’t see him anymore in the same episode Shea thinks she can’t hang out with boys anymore. I don’t know what her dad’s deal is, but he can promptly leave this series.Connie Britton was fantastic as usual. And, Sam’s secret isn’t a secret anymore…
Episode Grade: A
1) Alaska Daily (ABC/Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Is it weird that part of me wants Hilary Swank’s character to take the Times job so she can write all about what is happening to the indigenous women of Alaska while no one is paying attention? As they come closer to catching Ezra, I’m getting really excited, since everyone else seems perfectly happy pinning it on someone else.
