Disney Plus is developing Gargoyles into a live action series. So, if you were a fan of Gargoyles in the 90’s, this was the best or worst news you heard all day.
7) Krapopolis (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Unknown
I will concede that this episode was the funniest so far, with a lot of random jokes strung together nonsensically. We had a tribute to Prometheus, the rite of passage to go beat up your deadbeat Cyclops father, and a joke about giving squirrels the wheel instead of humans. I have no idea what this show wants to be ten seasons from now, but the growing pains its going through trying to figure that out may be worth it.
Episode Grade: B
6) Heartstopper (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Renewed?
Tao is freaking out about the kiss. Nick is put in a situation where he has to reveal himself a bit more. And Ben tries to prove he’s not homophobic. Oh, and Issac and James stop talking, and get real.
Episode Grade: B
5) Saturday Night Live (Peacock)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Perpetually Renewed
Pete Davidson was a solid host, very self deprecating, and the sketches written for him were pretty solid. not every sketch worked for me, but like a bright light, Boen yang showed up on the deck of a Star Trek like show and even though that sketch seemed headed for the drain, he made it hilarious. There were other stand out moments as well, from the Mad Men esque sketch to Pete’s song about his life, and Kenan doing Deion Sanders. It was mostly there. But I wish SNL had audio description.

4) Chucky (Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Season 3 is currently airing.
I’m still working through Season 2, which is recycling actors from Season 1 in new roles. Plus, there’s this whole thing with Tiffany as Jennifer Tilly, and Mika still being trapped, and Chucky screwing around with her. And what’s up with the twins? In the church facility, the big mystery is why Chucky is more interested in taking photos than killing them. Chucky kills again, but it’s a character we barely knew.
Episode Grade: B+
3) Billions (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Final Season
I’m almost done with Season 6, but I actually didn’t have a problem with Chuck getting ousted. They did a poor job this season of explaining why, other than not liking Prince, Chuck went after the Olympics. He single-handedly took the Olympics away from NYC. He also seems unhappy with the wealthy, when he himself is. Paul Giamatti’s speech at the end was pure fire, but he never should have shown up at Prince’s to gloat.

2) Last Week Tonight (MAX)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
We should probably all watch this episode. The main story is about how dangerous it is for us to have such a shitty Food and Drug Administration, and points out several incredibly disconcerting things that will make you question what you are eating. you may never eat again.
Episode Grade: A
1) Gen V (Amazon)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Hopefully Renewed
As important as john Oliver was this week, I don’t like to put non-audio described titles on top if avoidable, and luckily Gen V also deserves it. Another great episode, and we have a spinoff of the Boys where I actually like these leads. They aren’t all morally corrupt, and are getting really well fleshed out. Tech Knight seems like a D-List superhero with dumb powers. Natasha Lyonne on poker Face was a better lie detector.
