The Boys- Relatively contained, in that half the cast is looking for V1, and ends up at the same facility at the same time, leaving only a few others outside doing other things. Notably, Starlight visits her estranged father, and Firecracker has the task of selling Homelander as The Messiah.The Boys, Soldier Boy, and Homelander all go after V1 in what seems to be a solid poke at The Last Of Us.Nice audio description.

Detective Hole- A mix of dubbing and not, Detective Hole turns into a buffoon in this episode, crippled by alcoholism. He starts off the episode with a purpose, rapidly losing it, and falling into a pit of despair. Meanwhile, Tom (Joel Kinnaman) is just winning at life in the meantime. DVW credited a writer here, even though the narrator isn’t human. I’ve heard worse TTS, and dubbing. It is interesting to see them weave dubbing around Joel Kinnaman’s primarily English speaking detective.

Will Trent- Will meets an old foster parent who is trying to keep his vampire kid alive. I refuse to explore that further, and just let that sit. Amanda does experience PTSD from having to discharge her firearm, killing a bad guy, but saving a kids life in the process. The AD here is great, especially compared to the first three seasons.

DTF: St Louis- What a bizarre show. I keep watching, even though I don’t like the show. It has these fleeting moments, but so much of this just doesn’t work for me. Linda Cardellini is probably the best performance here. The AD is well done. I appreciated knowing that his penis was straight, leading to a story I’m sure we will eventually get.

Scrubs- Fell behind on the revival, primarily because I don’t care about the new cast. That was the problem at the end of the last run of Scrubs, was introducing new characters no one cared about. The AD is a struggle, due to the cut aways, but I’ve experienced worse. not yet renewed, which is not a great sign.
