Witch Hat Atelier- Kefi keeps Coco safe. The Knights have some unexplored beef with the Witches, and Kefi realizes there’s something wrong with Coco’s ink. The writing for the AD is exceptional, I’m enjoying the dub cast, and the AI voice isn’t that bad. Human narrators start working on the one thing AI doesn’t have. Genuine emotion.
The Testaments- Season finale! Already renewed! This whole episode is a fight for Becca on multiple fronts. Nothing ever works out well for women in this land, and all things considered, it is debatable as to if there are winners here. Excellent series, and one I hope to review.
Spider-Noir- This live action alternate universe adaptation is led by Nicolas Cage, as Ben Riley, AKA The Spider, who is now a for hire gumshoe. There’s always a dame involved. Brendan Gleeson plays a dangers crime boss known as Silverrmane, who will eventually tango with Ben. I forgot to think about the AD in a special way, because you can choose to watch the series in color or black and white, which is pointless for me, but I was thinking, if I choose black and white, is it still in color? But, I thought of that after, and I don’t know if I’ve Mandela Effected my way into believing color was in the description.A nice gimmick, and the series is vivid and different, and worth the watch. They want to do a second season, but it has to have ratings.
Strip Law-International Digital Center did the audio description to this middling adult animation, which is occasionally funny, but boosted a lot by its talented voice cast including Janelle James and Stephen Root.
Stumble- Courtney has to choose the final block of Cheerleaders for Daytona, as she now has more than required. It all comes down to Sally or LaDonna. Only one can go wild in Daytona. The AD here is a bit better than usual, since there is more cheering, and the team gets to describe the various tricks.
Breaking Bad- Jesse made a choice, so that actor could go on to be brilliant on Billions. Seriously, David Costable should have gotten an Emmy nomination for Billions. But, now what is Walt’s future, as Victor now tries to be a chemist. Gus has the answer. Diane Newman’s AD here by DVW is terrific.
