Star City: Season 1

Star City is one of those series that I wanted to love almost by default because I love For All Mankind. Admittedly, I haven’t reviewed all five seasons of that show, but I’ve watched them, and even though I don’t think season five was the strongest of the bunch, I still think For All Mankind is one of the best television series Apple has ever produced. The Small Screen Diaries- 01/12/24

Apple better be continuing on with For All Mankind. That season finale was a beast, and did exactly what I thought it would. Because the show takes these leaps forward in time, original cast members have to keep being shaved off because there’s only just so much you can age a person. After waiting a year to unceremoniously cancel the fantastic Riches, Amazon tries to make up for it by giving Reacher an early season 3 renewal. Yesterday, we lost a former First Lady with Roslyn Carter, who made it to 96. We also lost an actor I had forgotten could still be alive, Joss Ackland, who made for a mean villain in in the Lethal Weapon franchise, but also appeared in 90’s Disney films including A Kid In King Arthur’s Court and the Mighty Ducks films.
