Once again I’m running down the sixty shows on my broad watchlist. Joining the list this week, which was fairly slow for new shows, are The Sandman (Netflix), All Of Us Are Dead (Netflix), The Office (Peacock), Such Brave Girls (Hulu), Nautilus (AMC Plus), Dexter (Paramount Plus), and Prison Break (Netflix). I wrapped some shows, and anything that would rank outside the top 60 dies. WINNER: Squid Game (Netflix) with audio description- I knew I was going to lose my favorites. After the tragic uprising didn’t work last season, it meant playing out Squid Game till the end. I’m only … Continue reading The Small Screen Diaries: The Weekly Rankings

The Too Much TV Roundup- 04/01/23

We are already a quarter of the way through the year. Based on how fast I review films thus far, I’ll see 80 films this year. Of course, I know I’ll see more, but it’s crazy how slow accumulating that at the beginning of the year really is. 7) History Of The World Part 2 (Hulu) English Audio Description?: Yes There were times in the first episode that the comedy did feel in the style of Mel Brooks, but most of this doesn’t feel like him at all. I did laugh at the Lincoln segment in the first part. Making … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 04/01/23

Saturdays are not known for being big news days. 8) The Bad batch (Disney Plus) English Audio Description?: Yes I think, I’m not really into this series anymore. i feel like I’m trying to force myself through this season, but truthfully, The mandalorian is making me realize what it is I actually want out of a Star Wars show. Running these two on top of each other is a mistake. I don’t know that I’ll finish the season. Episode Grade: C+ 7) 1923 (Paramount … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 03/18/23

The Too Much TV Roundup- 02/25/23

I almost finished a fifth show, but I got busy. That will be an easy one to knock off for tomorrow’s list, but I had a busier than usual Saturday. In my real life, I work in live theatre, so I balance my life also around rehearsals and shows and such. I live, breathe, and sleep this industry. 4) Wu Tang: An American Saga (Hulu) English Audio Description?: Yes In its final season, the clan has gotten pretty big, and RZA is feeling the weight of their rise to fame as their label expects projects, as do the fans, who … Continue reading The Too Much TV Roundup- 02/25/23
