Not that this necessarily means anything, considering that Disney supposedly wanted to make a Gnomeo and Juliet 2, and Weinstein made a Hoodwinked 2 that was total crap, but Open Road has decided to go with a sequel to their hit animated comedy The Nut Job. Again, this project may die a fast death, and never be seen, but right now they’re pursuing a sequel.
