Well, Showtime just cancelled a show that premiered over a year ago. I think we all saw that coming. Generally, if you hit that year mark, and you haven’t heard anything… it’s not going to be good news.

A weird day. I enjoyed pretty much everything I watched, but in the great struggle, the show without AD lost the war. Fry drinks an alien leader which is bad news for him. And he and Leela have a falling out. But, it all works out in the end for our Marty mcFly knock off.

I see where this show is now reaching a point where it has blown open such a huge and confusing storyline that can’t possibly resolve by the season finale, so we likely will never fully understand what was down this rabbit hole. The fact that paramount hasn’t picked this up yet, but they already renewed The Family Stallone is not a good sign.

I hope this series has a worthwhile ending. Watching Jennifer Garner try to get this information out of this Charles guy at the bar was a bit much. If that had been me, I would have been asking myself why a spy wanted to know so much about me of all people. She was way too obvious.

Even though this is basically what I already saw in Gaslit, it has its own style and charm. I’m glad I gave this a second episode, since it seems to be headed on its own path. Of all the shows that are just copies of previous limited series, this one is the best so far.

I just so want more for Peggy. I want her to start being a boss instead of constantly getting fondled by men. I know it will happen at some point, and that’s part of her character arc, but she’s so helpless right now. Meanwhile, watching Don Draper pitch something is a work of art in itself.
