Paramount Plus is purging again. This time, I won’t be burned by saying everything has already been removed. The biggest cancellation/removal is Inside Amy Schumer. The rest are some documentaries, Paramount Plus original movies (Snow Day and Fantasy Football), and a bunch of Nickelodeon shows, only two of which I had even heard of. No 90’s content except Allegra’s Window sounded familiar.

Nothing really was wrong here, except Laura sold the wrong quilt, and had to get it back. It was very dramatic.

Chimney is now in charge, since Peter Krause’s Bobby is still suspended. Basically, an entire episode dedicated to him working into that role.

A lot more Matt Dillon now, as we basically are in a flashback episode. And I knew that dog had eaten a finger. it wasn’t even a surprise.

The program is out of control, but that sequence with the bottled water really makes me want to avoid bottled water from now on. holy shit.

Neve has to deal with her right hand man being in some clandestine operation. Anne Frank learns lessons for later in life that she won’t get to use because she’s Anne Frank. But scenes like that, they work because in that moment, she wasn’t famous, and the optimism was still there.

I feel like that’s not the last episode. It should be. It’s not. This episode will make you rethink Panic Rooms.

2) Barry (MAX)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Final Season
The series finale. Not really satisfying. Surprising, but not satisfying. It’s actually not really what I wanted for any of the Barry main cast. It’s also not that well written. I’m putting it high up here, because it’s also the last, and it gave everyone a moment for them to say goodbye and have a nice acting moment, but it this wins an emmy for writing, we should cancel the Emmys. A bloodbath that killed all the henchmen perfectly, and left the four main cast as the only ones still breathing or talking? Like, when a grenade explodes, the shrapnel doesn’t avoid someone because they’re in the main cast. I know it’s hard to do a finale that appeals to everyone, but Season 4 was my favorite since the first, and this is just such an odd ending. Also, i wanted so badly for Mark Wahlberg to cameo in that movie clip as Barry. I thought that would have been that little cherry on top. Just a nod to something said earlier. I’m sure he would ahve done it. Fucking Brad Pitt was on Dave this season.
Episode Grade: A-, Season 4 Grade: A, Series Grade: B+ (I really didn’t like Season 3).

DAMMIT BECKY. What the fuck. you are too smart to give out coordinates over the damn walk-in talkie. This is what I talk about when i talk about dumb writing. honestly, I think this is why some other shows keep around a dumb character, who is likable, but always the one getting into trouble, because when it turns out Becky is doing dumb shit, it doesn’t make any sense. but damn, this episode was great otherwise.
