The Sandman- Now that I know, Episode 11 is actually the series finale, and this is just a one off bottle episode that uses this franchises version of Death… and lets her take a holiday. So, this is Death Takes A holiday, but in the way Neil Gaiman would do it. It was cute. Inconsequential, but cute. The audio description was fine, and had a fairly easy job as most of the fantasy elements weren’t present. They were just acting like regular people. The only other character that even appeared was Mad Hetty. But, thanks to the team at DVW for some really great work this season. There was a little glitch a few episodes back, but otherwise, solid work from what I can tell.
My Life With The Walter Boys- I’m sorry if this comes as a surprise to you, in a show called My Life With The Walter Boys, but our lead character who left us on a cliffhanger at the end of last season when she returned to the Big Apple, decides to return to Colorado. i know. It’s a shocker that she would choose to spend her life with the Walter Boys on a show called My life With The Walter Boys. I was on pins and needles as well. I’m so glad we got past that cliffhanger. It was a doozie. But once she comes back, she finds out that it’s harder to come home than she thought. She also finds out that her school has a staggering lack of elective courses, and somehow, despite these being rather rural individuals, the shop class is the ONLY one with a spot open. Really? Choir doesn’t need one more? Everyone lined up for Home Economics? What even are the other electives?
Sausage Party: Foodtopia- The main trio stumble into a seemingly true Foodtopia, a fully realized city of food that operates like humans would. Cars, movie theaters, and a government. Everything is looking up, and they don’t even kill Jack. They give him bath salts. Is this place heaven?
Upload- I think it’s been so long I forgot most of the last three seasons, but the little recap helped a bit. In a shortened final season, they are wrapping up storylines, which means this episode has a wedding. no time wasted.
Mindhunter- The main guys get chastised by a higher up for some bullshit. they went and talked to a killer who got upset, but also the warden of the prison didn’t adhere to the previously agreed upon terms, so nothing was their fault.
