From- Some shit is getting real. Hard to discuss without spoilers, because the show is so intricate, but I shall try. Victor is doing great until he finds an article of clothing that is the most terrifying thing he’s apparently ever seen. Tabitha wants a repeat of what happened before, but an old friend tells her No, and things are different now, time is running out. Fatima and Elgin make the strangest pact. Boyd gives Acosta purpose. Ellis shows Fatima how to rage out. Sophie wants to live with Sarah. Julie wants some reading material, and Randall wants to help. Pretty sure Donna, Christie, Marielle, and Sarah were not around this episode. The AD is by a company I have never heard of, and a narrator I don’t know, and it is still really good despite the high bar already set by the rotating set of AD teams from seasons past.

For All Mankind- The episode is appropriately titled Home, and featured a few guest appearances from past cast who haven’t been around in a hot minute. It is the final episode for a character, and I’m honestly wondering how the show moves forward at this point. I feel like this should be the series finale, or damn near it, but they are finishing next season.

Million Dollar Secret- A new challenge awaits. The millionaire tries to pass off his challenge as being a side challenge, noting that last season someone who wasn’t the millionaire was given a challenge to complete for immunity. Nice audio description.

RJ Decker- This show confounds me because I know why it is on the bubble. The show is trying to fit into a formula it hasn’t justified. Why choose RJ Decker? What is so special about him? He’s on the same network as Will Trent and High Potential, two near identical shows whose protagonists are far more interesting, and both justify why they are good at what they do. RJ feels like some guy with no skill set, and Scott Speedman doesn’t have the magnetic charisma to pull this role off without it having any quirks. The AD is just OK.

Celebrity Jeopardy- A solid game with three strong players, and an audio description track that is in no way possible narrated by a human.

Running Point- I see you. The AD team is writing some great new character intros for some fresh faces, even including ethnicity/race. Also, it looks like Justin Theroux is hanging out for a while, and Ray Romano joins the cast. The best friend/assistant gets a ton of screentime in this episode, and I forgot she existed. Season 1 so inconsistently used her. The AD here is fire though.

Say Something!
