I finished Billions (Paramount Plus) officially. What a great finale, and a spinoff is totally set up for Taylor, so please make that happen. Kudos to Paula Hoffman and everyone who worked on the audio description for the two available seasons. I managed to finally finish Fellow Travelers (Paramount Plus with Showtime), and man that was a fantastic show. Matt Bomer and Jonathan bailey gave fantastic performances, and I really enjoyed and appreciated the audio description. This was Golden Globe nominated, so make sure to check this out. I Looked At The Netflix Report So You Don’t Have To
Netflix recently released a massive list of 18K titles that had at least 50K viewing hours on the platform for the first six months of 2023. They plan on making bi-annual reports like this and breaking down the idea that they aren’t transparent. I looked at it so you don’t have to. The list values time watched in hours, not necessarily who watched the whole season. Amazon officially cancelled Riches a year after it debuted on the service. This just pisses me off. That was such a great show. I wish more people had seen it, and I wish Amazon has positioned it with any kind of serious marketing that would have given it a chance. Not aware of any major TV news, except I noticed that Apple is still calling this coming episode of Ted Lasso a Season 3 finale. Jason Sudekis has been pretty clear that this is the final season. I don’t know what the disconnect is.
