Red One

Red One (Amazon)- Really Overcomplicates The Magic Behind Great Holiday Movies Quick Take: Talk about a film that made zero impact on me. My video was shot after having seen it, and just now catching up to this, I’ve almost entirely forgotten this film. I remember Chris Evans, and his character’s backstory. he had an accent. Dwayne Jonson was here. But, my brain has deleted this, because it was so average. I remember the films I loved or liked, and I remember the movies I didn’t like or hated, but put enough time between me and a movie I’m mostly … Continue reading Red One

The Mummy (25th Anniversary)

So one of the cool things happening with the lack of releases is that we are getting more and more anniversary rereleases, like Brendan Fraser’s underrated The mummy. This Stephen Sommers flick is something I already own on DVD, but without audio description. The rerelease allowed me to experience the audio description, and encouraged me to explore the sequells, also with audio description. Fraser’s first foray is one of those random moviegoing experiences I still remember. I was actually out of town and my mom dropped me off at the movie theatre, knowing I would be good to go. I … Continue reading The Mummy (25th Anniversary)

Fast X

Where I Watched It: In The Family Room on Peacock English Audio Description?: Yes, Family May Enjoy Audio Description Family. I’m pretty sure when The Fast and the Furious was a surprise hit in 2001, a sequel was presumed. but we are now on the 10th film in this long running family franchise, and it has grown in size as to be able to maximize the family members on screen. The amount of people in this film is so ridiculous that after the movie ends, and the credits start to list the various family members, when we start to wind … Continue reading Fast X

Black Adam

Where I Watched It: HBo MAX English Audio Description provided By: Deluxe Narrated By: William Michael Redmond I could use this entire time to just talk about whatever the heck is going on at the DC branch of Warner Bros. Discovery. But, that’s like choosing a graduate thesis at this point, and having to break down how Everytime the company is supposed to turn right, they turn and run away. Truthfully, i wish the best for james Gunn, but I think it will go about as well as it did for Zack Snyder. When everything in the DC Universe resembled … Continue reading Black Adam

DC League Of Superpets

Where I Watched It: HBo MAX Audio Description Provided By: Deluxe Narrated By: KG Tang Considering the fact that DC’s universe is best represented on the work they put on streaming services and even Arrowverse, it seemed rather sketchy that something about Krypto and some shelter pets fighting crime would work. Are we at a point where Krypto warrants a theatrical release? I mean, this is the same studio that bothered to shoot a Batgirl movie just to keep it locked away at Area 51. I always try to enter every single movie open minded, and this one exceeded my … Continue reading DC League Of Superpets
