I kinda mentioned how the season finale of Doogie Kamaloha felt like a series finale with her not choosing either of the guys, and instead choosing herself. Disney Plus has cancelled the show. I think we all knew they would. It’s a shame, because they have such a hard time launching a new series that isn’t Marvel or Star Wars. Well, Amazon done gone and pissed me the hell off. be careful what you wish for kids, because sometimes you get TV news. Amazon, in an effort to endear themselves with their subscribers, has reversed their second season renewals on both The Peripheral and A League of Their Own. The TV news cycle is really slow right now. The WGA met, and were made a counter offer that they are taking a look at. Sadly, they did not release the counter offer to the press. Well, the WGA didn’t end up going back to the table after all. So the strike is still on. i truly believe these studios refuse to budge on AI, and the guilds can’t afford to, because they understand once they allow it in the door contractually it will start putting people out of work. I gotta be honest and say, that while i realize this strike is keeping people from working, I 100% support it until at least the studios give up on abusing the use of AI. honestly, I’m loving catching up on shows, and rewatching them. I did notice that Paramount Plus announced that the next season of Star Trek Discovery will be its last. Big TV News! ABC is (finally) letting The Goldbergs go at the end of their current season. The show, which has had several cast departures over the years already, will finally get to rest.
