Borderlands

Borderlands- Eli Roth Was An Odd Choice For A PG-13 Version Quick Take: A lot has already been said about Lionsgate’s expensive foray into adapting Borderlands for the big screen. Not enough is being said about Lionsgate likely being the reason for the problem. Borderlands is a fun game, and it does have a story, which you advance through with the help of the most obnoxious sidekick in Claptrap. You can also team up with friends in the franchise, and run missions together. I’ve long wanted a Left 4 Dead movie, especially with how many excellent horror directors there are … Continue reading Borderlands

Die Hart 2

I take some ownership for the absolute destruction in this review. I remember when Die Hart was a thing, and I thought it was a show on Quibby, which I did not subscribe to, and it died really fast. My recollection was that Roku bought the library of Quibby content, including Die Hart. So I don’t know how it got to Amazon, and I’m not sure why it is a full length movie. But, it had audio description. This was also trending on Amazon, and I had the time and the curiosity to find out exactly what the hell was … Continue reading Die Hart 2

Lift

Sometimes, i don’t mind seeing a film just a little bit after the flood of critics and online haters. It really gives me perspective. I always approach every movie as neutral as possible, but often, the crowd is right. Maybe not quite to the extremes. While I didn’t really care for either Meg 2 or The Expend4bles, I definitely saw worse last year. Lift was getting that kind of bad press, and I’m going to lightly disagree. It’s not worth fighting over, but in a rotten/fresh, thumbs down/up world, I’d recommend this over not recommending it. Kevin Hart leads an all-star … Continue reading Lift

DC League Of Superpets

Where I Watched It: HBo MAX Audio Description Provided By: Deluxe Narrated By: KG Tang Considering the fact that DC’s universe is best represented on the work they put on streaming services and even Arrowverse, it seemed rather sketchy that something about Krypto and some shelter pets fighting crime would work. Are we at a point where Krypto warrants a theatrical release? I mean, this is the same studio that bothered to shoot a Batgirl movie just to keep it locked away at Area 51. I always try to enter every single movie open minded, and this one exceeded my … Continue reading DC League Of Superpets

Me Time

Where I Watched It: Netflix English Audio Description Available?: Yes Narration Written By: CJ Hardy In a world where something like The Sandman might not get a second season, Netflix keeps green lighting absolute garbage. I’m beginning to think that Netflix has some blackmail dirt on Mark Wahlberg and Kevin Hart based on the amount of already sub-par material they have produced for the service. This film just solidifies it as it is one of the worst films of the year. Me Time actually manages to take two charismatic actors (along with Regina Hall) and put them in a film … Continue reading Me Time
