The 25 Films I’m Most Looking Forward To In 2015 (Updated)

At the beginning of the year, I posted a list of the 25 most anticipated films (for me) this year. Of course, I hadn’t seen a lot of trailers, and some films weren’t yet on the calendar. With a few films now opened, and no longer eligible for the Top 25, I thought it might be fun to revisit this list. I originally had Kingsman, Furious 7, Get Hard, The Last Five Years, Insurgent, and Chappie on this list.

25) The Peanuts Movie
There’s a Snoopy fan in all of us. Who isn’t excited to see Charlie Brown and the gang on the big screen?

24) Straight Outta Compton
Another new addition because of a really strong trailer. I didn’t think I was going to be excited for this, but the trailer made me take this film seriously.

23) Infinitely Polar Bear
Probably my most anticipated film coming out of Sundance. I’ve heard its good, and Ruffalo is great in it. The trailer is really good too.

22) Vacation
Moved up slightly.

21) Sisters
No change.

20) Paper Towns
I enjoyed The Fault In Our Stars, so I’ll give this one a shot. Pretty decent trailer. New to the list.

19) Aloha
Good trailer, which I’ve seen a ton of times. This is another debut on the list. Good director and a great cast.

18) The Hunger Games: Mockingjay part 2
I might get more excited when I see a real trailer, but right now, it’s just the second half of a book.

17) Spy
Moved this up a little bit.

16) Fantastic Four
No real change. I’m still worried this film might be a little too serious.

15) Pitch Perfect 2
Moved down a bit, actually. I’m a little worried it won’t be as good as the first.

14) Trainwreck
Highest new debut on my list, and it’s all because of a really great trailer, and great buzz coming out of SXSW.

13) Tomorrowland
Moved up a little bit.

12) The Good Dinosaur
Pixar. No trailer, but still Pixar. And still no change.

11) Maze Runner: The Scorch Trials
No new news, and no real change.

10) Ted 2
I was originally skeptical, but the trailers look great.

9) Mission Impossible: Rogue Nation
I felt like I had to move it up after having finally seen the trailer.

8) Pan
It really does have a great trailer. Every time I see it, I get more excited.

7) Entourage
I’m loving the trailers. I moved this up a few notches. I loved the TV series.

6) Ant Man
No real change here. Still excited.

5) Spectre
Moved this up a bunch after finally getting to see the trailer. It looks fantastic.

4) Star Wars: The Force Awakens
No change.

3) Inside Out
Word on the street is that it’s Oscar caliber. I’m so excited.

2) Jurassic World
Still super pumped.

1) Avengers: Age Of Ultron
You probably saw this coming. Yes, it’s my most anticipated film of 2015. It’s probably a lot of peoples #1 film. I’m such a sellout.
