Actor Profile: Hayden Panettiere

Today was not a very strong day, it was between Hayden and Carrie Anne Moss, and I picked Hayden because she seems more current, whereas Carrie seems more fading. The first thing I “saw” her in was probably Message In A Bottle, in which she had a very minor role. I suppose I first really noticed her in Remember The Titans, but she already had two big voiceover parts in her belt by then.

BEST PERFORMANCE:
Her work currently on Nashville is by far the most demanding work she’s had that I’ve seen. She’s done some great work on that show. I admittedly stopped watching Nashville after the first season. It was just too soapy for me, but her acting is on point (as is Connie Britton’s).

MOST ICONIC PERFORMANCE
Save the cheerleader, save the world. Her most iconic work is definitely as Claire on Heroes. I even remembered her characters name, without the help of IMDB, despite not having seen Heroes in a long time.

MOST UNDERRATED PERFORMANCE
Who didn’t love her as Kirby in Scream 4? I’m sad there isn’t a Scream 5, and we don’t get to see more of Kirby. Maybe she can pop on over to the Scream TV series for a few episodes. Kirby was the best thing about Scream 4.

BEST PERFORMANCE I’VE HEARD WAS GOOD, AND HAVEN’T SEEN
I’m not big on TV movies, but I heard she did a good job in the Amanda Knox movie.

WORST PERFORMANCE
Don’t see The Forger. Terrible, terrible film.

Roles/Films I’ve Seen:
1) A Bugs Life (1998)
2) Message In A Bottle (1999)
3) Dinosaur (2000)
4) Remember The Titans (2000)
5) Joe Somebody (2001)
6) Raising Helen (2004)
7) Ice Princess (2005)
8) Bring It On: All Or Nothing (2006)
9) Heroes (2006-2010)
10) I Love You Beth Cooper (2009)
11) Alpha and Omega (2010)
12) Scream 4 (2011)
13) The Forger (2012)
14) Nashville (2012-2016)
