Actor Profile: Kristen Bell

Kristen Bell has managed a pretty solid career, despite some duds. Having finally seen The Boss, and recently seeing Bad Moms, I felt like it was time to profile her. I like her, but I can’t always trust her judgement in role choices.

BEST PERFORMANCE:
She’s had very little opportunities to be a dramatic actress, so I’d have to go all the way back to Spartan for a serious role. But since she’s mostly a comedian, I’d pick her performance in Forgetting Sarah Marshall, where she got to be funny, and a little bit bitchy.

MOST ICONIC PERFORMANCE:
Everyone has seen Frozen, but to a ton of people she’ll always be Veronica Mars.

MOST UNDERRATED PERFORMANCE:
I already mentioned Spartan, so I’ll pick Big Miracle. The movie is just OK, but she was really good in it.

BEST PERFORMANCE I’VE HEARD WAS GOOD AND HAVEN’T SEEN:
I haven’t seen House Of Lies, yet I know it’s supposed to be good. I just don’t have Showtime.

WORST PERFORMANCE/FILM:
The worst film of hers is Pootie Tang, but she was barely in that. Another terrible film would be Movie 43.

Roles/Films I’ve Seen:
1) Pootie Tang (2001)
2) American Dreams (2003)
3) Everwood (2003)
4) Spartan (2004)
5) Veronica Mars (2004)
6) Pulse (2006)
7) Heroes (2007)
8) Gossip Girl (2007)
9) Forgetting Sarah Marshall (2008)
10) Fanboys (2009)
11) Couples Retreat (2009)
12) When In Rome (2010)
13) Get Him To The Greek (2010)
14) You Again (2010)
