Definitely some big TV news yesterday. Kevin Costner’s perpetual temper tantrum has turned into this being the final season of Yellowstone. However, they are planning on doing a sequel spinoff series starring Matthew McConaughey and many of the current Yellowstone cast. Also cancelled is CBS’s 6 season success story SWAT, which was cancelled over money squabbling between CBS and Sony. Despite the fact that SWAT has actually grown its audience the past couple seasons, it’s too expensive, and a deal could not be reached. Finally, FOX is no longer speaking with Mayim Bialik, as they have stopped Call Me kat after three seasons.

WillieJack in jail. That’s basically the episode. There were some solid jokes, but because the show basically stuck to this one concept the whole half hour, and wasn’t jumping around, it got a little tedious.

This climate change series jumped back to focus on our Rabbi and his temple in Miami. Some solid performances here from David Schwimmer and Daveed Diggs, but mostly I wish this had explored a new aspect of this apocalyptic outlook instead of expanding on a character from the first episode.

They made an entire episode on the riddle “A father and son are in a car accident. The father dies. The son is taken to the hospital. The surgeon comes into the room, and says I can’t operate on him. He’s my son. How is this possible?” It’s to drive home just how chauvinistic Archie is that he can’t figure this one out.

So, at the end of the last episode, Chloe (AKA she who has been touched) made an asinine move by stating four names and walking away from the table. She gave no context otherthan her perpetual claim of being clairvoyant. In the next episode, we find out that Chloe chickenshat her way out of the show, and will NEVER offer context. Yet, the players *obsessed* over her picks. If I had been at that table, they all would have been put to shame. They’re all listening to four names from someone who quit the competition. Why did she quit? She never offered context. She just fucking left. if she was so sure that she had the right names, wouldn’t she stay because in her world, in four eliminations, she would win money? It’s amazing how many people took her words as gospel, and acted like those people were shady. Hilariously, Chloe did actually get two of the four. Yet, when it came to the round table, the voting was all over the place, and they ended up eliminating one of Chloe’s picks who was faithful. That’s what you all deserve. You deserve that.

Well, this fan service TNG reunion ended this episode with a sad death, but also Picard regaining his Captain position. Of what? You’ll have to watch to find out. Jordy and Data are the MVP’s.

Well, the Gifted test Cory takes in the 6th grade, he would have already taken in elementary school. I know, because I was of the similar age group, and I was tested early, and my Gifted program ran through Elementary school. But, it was still a pretty cute episode. Morgan is adorable. I don’t know why they disappeared her for a while.

Peter Krause stole this episode with a look at his past, and why he’s here and the way he is. It’s funny how that overshadowed Connie Britton searching for her mother who has Alzheimer’s.

A nice graduation finale centered around Mark, that made it sound like we might be getting a cameo. instead, it’s a great bonding episode between Mark and Ben. Side note… what happened to DJ’s daughter? Did she crawl in the attic like in American Horror Story season 1, never to be found again? Is there an Amber Alert for Mary?

I’m not even sure this is a perfect series. There were moments where I rolled my eyes. Like, Kyle texting on the gurney. But, there are so many WTF moments where I find myself audibly shouting “WHAT?” At my TV screen that I’m on the edge anyway. I hope all these twists and turns have a purpose, but two episodes in and this still is blowing my mind.
