In case you missed it, The Bear dropped a surprise stand alone episode, which is a flashback episode featuring Jon Bernthal, more than a month before the final season of The Bear (June 25th). Now I gotta carve out time for that. Also, NBC did pick up The Fall and Rise of Reggie Dinkins for a second season. I believe this leaves The Hunting PArty as its lone bubble show. ABC still needs to decide on RJ Decker as well.

Daredevil: Born Again- Did a full review yesterday. The fact that I’m having to tell you that, is sad. Not all of you, but some of you.
The Testaments- A Daisy centric episode, showing more of her life in Canada, post-June but pre-espionage. We get another Handmaid guest star when Rita pops up, to help Rita out. Meanwhile, Daisy in the current timeline is terrified of being found out as Mayday, Agnes has a tiff with her stepmother, Becca is deep in her feelings over Garth being one of her choices, and the AD narrator made a strong choice to label Tweety Bird, but not Sylvester, just calling it a cat. Perhaps it was the one random Looney Tune where Tweety attacked a different cat, but come on. What was the thought process here? It had to be Sylvester, right? If you can’t use the brand, then it should have been a yellow bird attacks a black and white cat.
Stranger Things: Tales From 85- Where are all these new characters popping up? I should probably finish the season first, before complaining, but who are these people? And, I’d be more into this plot, if I hadn’t seen Carved on Hulu a year ago. The AD by IDC is solid though, and Max and Dustin sound identical to their actual actors.
The Pitt- Robbie is getting ready for his trip, ready to hand the reigns to the next shift, but some cases just need to be finished first. I think this is totally winning Drama Series a second year in a row.
Shrinking- Grandpa does what he said he would, but Jimmy seems to be wrong about his daughter being devastated by it (unless that is in a later episode). Meanwhile, Paul and Jimmy have a huge fight, because Jimmy didn’t take his advice and tell his father how he felt, so all his pent up anger comes out on Paul. Jason Segal is coming for that Emmy this year. Sean also gets to move into a new place with his friend, and Liz finds out she’s going to be a grandmother, while Brian is trying like hell to avoid going to Tennessee.
Love Story- This is dull. I wish it wasn’t, but I’m starting to lose faith in Ryan Murphy, who is over extended. His shows keep getting worse. Dial it back. Aspiring for a Tyler Perry level of output should not be the goal.I wonder when Taylor Sheridan will truly hit his wall in terms of too many irons in the fire.
Hacks- Then we come roaring back with one of the greatest shows of the last decade, featuring two iconic performances, and an ensemble that has continued to strengthen underneath them. Jean Smart’s Deborah is back, and not taking her non-compete laying down.
