Dead City- Back to not having audio description again. Good job guys.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed- I love how invested I am in this woman getting to keep her daughter, more than the strange shit happening around her. It is a testament to how well the show has fleshed out that part. The AD here by Pixel Logic was fine. They could have done more with things like the injury post-bong attack.

Tomb Raider King- I kind of understand this world. Melvina Babu is an excellent writer for Global3. I wish this wasn’t synthetic.But at least CrunchyRoll is jumping into AD finally, and the writers at Global3 are more competent than some of the bargain AD companies.

The Westies- Season finale. The power shifts, but with well known figures here like john Gotti, there’s only just so much you can do. The AD here was OK. Was that a sexual assault we breezed through?

Life, Larry, and The Pursuit Of Unhappyness- Look at Obama doing sketch comedy. Who would have thought? Larry’s doing the heavy lifting, and the sketch was dumb as hell, but cool to see him there. You have to be a big Larry David fan to love this. The AD was really good though, especially during the Donner sequence, and the William Henry Harrison parts.

Pop Culture Jeopardy- A question so asinine, everyone misses final. At least I understood why Only Howards made the guess they did, and they should have won just for being smart enough to get that close.

Marshals- Talk about a scorched earth finale with everyone headed in different directions, new danger afoot, and lives in the balance. However, while I love Media Access Group, we need to talk. Twice in the same episode you described a bullet hole marring someone’s face. they are dead. it’s a bit more than marring. It reminded me of the Monty Python “it’s just a flesh wound”, and the fact it was used twice just shows someone needs a thesaurus… he said pensively.

Best: This is tough. If it wasn’t synthetic, I’d pick Tomb Raider King. Instead I’ll toss it to Life, Larry, and the Pursuit of Unhappyness for its final episode. For the format, it did pretty well.

Worst: Well, Dead City had no audio description again, so I feel like that’s an easy loser.
