X-Men 97- A corrupted AD track. I already reached out to Deluxe, but what was there was woefully inadequate, and clearly missing chunks. The opening credits where we hear the cast, not described. Also, Morph changes into more than just Scott Summers and Silver Samurai. Deluxe is aware, I’m sure Disney doesn’t care. I’ve yelled at their socials before, to no avail. They have films on Disney Plus that have AD, they own them, and the AD didn’t hit their own service. Disney’s performative nature is obvious. I will retract what I said about S2E1, as there are no Prime Sentinels. I often check sighted recaps/reviews if I think I missed something, and I chose poorly, as now two weeks out, far more recaps available, and no mention of Prime Sentinels. I’m going to be extra critical of X-Men in all forms, from story, casting, AD, all the way up because this was my nerd culture. Not Batman, Superman, Spider-Man, Power Rangers, SpongeBob, or anything else. My top was X-Men, with Ninja Turtles running a close second. I loved seeing the Brood used, I loved that Kane and Maverick pop in for a short period of time, and the title (Weapon X, Lies, and DVDs) is hilarious if you get the reference.

Margo’s Got Money Troubles- Nick Offerman is predictably crushing my soul. I hope the next episode doesn’t disappoint, because if I were a judge, I would award her custody on the sheer existence that his mom made her sign a NDA absolving her son from fatherhood. Want out? Good. Stay out. Michael Angarano is insufferable here, as is Marcia Gay Harden, and I love both actors. The AD is great, and did a lot during the darkest Jinx moments.

Unchosen- Sam is turning out to be a bigger problem than a religious cult. The AD here is Ok. The series is Ok. I’m getting through it.

The Rise And Fall Of Reggie Dinkins- Tracy’s girlfriend wants a wedding, dammit, and is going to do anything she can to make that known. The AD here is fine for its format, There are far worse described comedies (The Comeback).

Scarpetta- A bit more of a focus on the current storyline in this episode, which we are all better for. Hopefully Season 2 doesn’t split timelines. No offense to the younger cast, but I don’t like how much time they take up. The AD here is solid, always far more obvious when brutality is on screen.

SNL- I laughed at the description of Paul McCartney. I wondered if that was the first time anyone learned what Paul McCartney looked like. I enjoy the AD tracks to SNL, and this was a killer season finale, featuring some wonderful cameos, including Molly Shannon and Aziz Ansari. Also, it felt like a farewell to Mikey Day, as he was in nearly every sketch. I think they thought he was going to quit, and didn’t. I wonder if he’s done.
