I’d love to be able to open this column today with some sweet new TV buzz. I’ll say that it’s interesting to me that with the exception of True Lies, which CBS doesn’t seem to be considering to bring back, the little things holding up their last three shows are silly. blue Bloods has been running for 13 seasons, anchoring the lineup, and CBS is making the actors take pay cuts to lower production costs. Just to clarify. Yesterday, I mentioned Alert, and how I bailed due to lack of audio description. I watch “too much TV”, thus the name of the roundup, meaning I rarely get to a show when it drops, unless it’s a big show i make time for like The Mandalorian or Ted Lasso. But, even though I thought there was a possibility of spinning off Puss into his own film wouldn’t work, the original charmed me quite a bit. Well, FOX went ahead and renewed their shittiest shows first,making sure that Alert and Accused joined the already shitty and renewed The Cleaning Lady. I’m being a bit harsh.
