Black-ish launched last night to 10.8 million viewers, with a 3.3 in the demo. Modern Family was the lead in, and it got 10.9 million and a 3.7 in the demo, so Black-ish had an amazing retention rate. The Middle saw 7.4 million and 2.1 in the demo, while The Goldbergs had 7 million and 2.3 in the demo. Nashville faded a bit, down to 5.6 million and 1.5 in the demo. It’s important to note that Nashville has a sizeable DVR audience.
Survivor launched to 9.6 million and a 2.7 in the demo, which was an OK launch. It’s not the powerhouse it once was.
The Mysteries Of Laura moved to 8PM and saw 9.9 million viewers, and a 1.5 in the demo. The total viewers is OK, but that demo is low. SVU followed with 10.1 million and 2.1 in the demo. Chicago PD closed out the night for NBC with 8.4 million and a 1.9 in the demo, matching what it did last season.
Red Band Society was down this week, with only 3.4 million viewers and a 1.0 in the demo. This drama isn’t going to survive. FOX is having an awful fall season so far. Sleepy Hollow, The New Girl, and The Mindy Project are all down, Utopia is a huge flop, and Red Band Society is a disappointment.
