Castle hit a three year high with its premiere last night. Castle returned to 11.3 million viewers, and a 2.4 in the demo. That’s a total viewership down from Dancing With The Stars (12.7M), but up in the demo (1.9).
On CBS, The Big Bang Theory continued to dominate with 16.2 million viewers and a 4.7 in the demo, followed by Scorpion with 13.2 million viewers and a 3.0 in the demo (down only slightly). NCIS Los Angeles showed how hard the timeslot is when it returned down to 9.4 million viewers (it used to pull in over 16 million), and only a 1.9 in the demo. However, the numbers are still an improvement over Hostages and Intelligence.
On FOX, Gotham slipped a bit to 7.3M and 2.8 in the demo, while Sleepy Hollow did 5.1M and 1.7 in the demo.
On NBC, The Voice continued strong with 12.7M and 3.9 in the demo, followed by The Blacklist at 10.7M and 2.8 in the demo, down a bit with added competition.
I’m concerned for Sleepy Hollow, but Scorpion is headed to a very quick full season order.
