After The Other Two dropped their big bomb yesterday, Reservation Dogs followed them with the exact same announcement, that the 3rd season will be it’s last. I remember when most shows wanted to hit season 4 because it put syndication into play, but with shows no longer running 22 episode seasons, there’s no need for that. Reservation Dogs would need nine seasons to get to that point. Also, ABC is sticking with Home Economics a little bit longer. A huge show of good faith, the network has extended the contracts for the cast while waiting decision on a renewal. I haven’t heard whether or not there are plans to do this for The Rookie Feds or The Good Lawyer, but those contracts would expire tomorrow as well.

13) The Adventures Of The Gummi Bears (Disney Plus)

There was a human character in here with a new voice I didn’t recognize, but the rescue Granny storyline was more fun than some others, and they used the tunnels. My nostalgic trip was promised 10 episodes, and this was nine. Whether or not I go past 10 is looking dim. There are some other shows from back in this time period I’d love to dive into. If I had kids though, we’d be all up in this.

Next month, the new season starts, and I’m still in Season 2. This episode started off cool, with a reimagined world and some odd backstory, and nice jokes. I liked the one where Fry says his favorite shows are the one’s where it’s The World’s Blankyest blank. Then, they got drafted into something, and that space captain character came back around. Normally he’s funny, but the back half of the episode dragged a bit.

I see Monica making Jam in the kitchen to get over Richard, and I’m like… it was YOUR choice. It’s funny watching this show as an adult, and not having sympathy. Meanwhile, Phoebe starts to hang out with someone who was dating her evil twin.

I feel like I just need more information. Not in little bursts, but like a prequel. There’s this half pig half human character that must be fought. Meanwhile, Jinn just wants to be normal so bad that he basically takes it on the chin at the hopes of getting on the soccer team. It’s so weird that the kid that seems to be the superhero type, is not really the central character. I’m still marinating, but I’m gradually enjoying the show more as it reveals itself more and more.

I came back around to this now that it has audio description. The pilot was a bit more understandable, but after seeing it twice, the show itself is a little slow, and it relies a lot on the love of music, and the acting from its lead actors.Shannon and Chastain are terrific.

Well, this is as high as this show goes. Sadly, it’s full of mediocre actors, because the plot was solid. Not perfect, but solid. It ends the way you’d expect it to. And, Season 2 seems to set up characters, except Rose. Who knows what she’ll be doing. She wasn’t given a future.

Don is being courted by a much larger firm, and that firm dangles a modeling opportunity for Betty, just for her to be crushed when it goes away when Don turns the job down. Meanwhile, Vincent Kartheiser continues to play the least likable character on television, which is why he’s basically the only major character who was never nominated for an Emmy. But, my favorite part was when Betty showed how good she was with a gun, as her way of telling her neighbor to not fuck with her kids, or their dog.

I’ve almost worked out the technology to travel into the television to punch Giovanni in the face. He so badly needs it. This actor is great at being obnoxious. But this won the whole day because Colton’s dad is absolutely spiraling out of control. He repurposed the dining room table to build a saloon, and is trying to figure out who on the basketball team was messing around with his dead son’s girlfriend, all to the dismay of the son he still has. Sometimes, well written supporting characters can really help strengthen a show.
