Wednesday- I’m going to do a full review soon for RT, but I loved the track for this. Lots of fun fighting going on. Loved the nice touch about the color of Enid’s eyes. If I had one specific question, it would be related to Agnes. Her invisible/visible thing, the mechanics of that, when she’s visible does she control how much of her is visible? Like, in different scenes are there different parts of her visible or is it just straight up an on/off switch? I’m taking it as an on/off switch, but certain times I’ve thought the context didn’t really require it.

the Hunting Wives- LMAO. I was wondering when this show was going to get into some gay content, and I did not have that character on my bingo card. Sure, we’ve had ladies kissing each other, but it seemed inevitable that a man would come out of the closet, and while that’s not really what this is, it certainly was a surprising, and revealing moment. If you’re just sitting around wondering “is there a show on television where a wife gets to fuck her husband with a strap on?” Then look no further. You have found your show. in the more serious actual plot, we did lose a major character, and a somewhat major character in the same episode. But one of the bigger names in the cast is no more.

NCIS: Tony and Ziva- I can confirm, right now, I’m not finishing this season. I’m watching a comfortable handful of episodes so I don’t feel like an ass reviewing it on the Tomatometer. It is well described, and while I think non-fans could enjoy this, it is made for people who are hardcore NCIS fans. The only difference is that it doesn’t follow the same case of the week type format, and seems to have more of a season long arc.

Have I Got News For You- Love this. I wish they’d add audio description later, but I understand the news moves fast, and it is why they don’t bother with The Daily show on Paramount Plus either. Last week tonight gets it because the main stories are often relevant far past the air date.

The Paper- Man, Dave Wallace feels fully integrated into the show. this is perhaps the most performative I’ve heard since solar Opposites had an audio description track that interacted in the credits. When we see our old face from The Office, and he starts talking about not being able to use his face, Dave responds like he’s part of the documentary crew. I’ll say the reason I liked it is because we talk about shows being entertainment, and the less like JAWS and our other tech the audio description sounds, the more we’re allowed to kick back. What Dave is doing doesn’t even feel like audio description, although it is. He’s providing the same function, but it feels like he’s cast in the series. I didn’t catch the name of the AD company at the end, but kudos to trying a bold approach on this. It absolutely will not work for some people, but at the same time, narrators like Dave make a strong case as to why TTS voices can’t ever hope to do what he can do. He might be the most extreme example of this, but he is absolutely, most certainly, not a robot.

Breaking Bad- this series is getting dark. Walt is not looking up, even though he’s had his cancer treatment. His wife is onto him, and she’s figured everything out except for the actual thing he’s doing. She brought the receipts. Meanwhile, Jesse is not doing great, and Walt pulls him out of a drug den and takes him to rehab. Jonathan Banks makes his debut in the series, as “the Fixer”. Gus visits the police as a member of the community, and notices Hank and Walt are related. And Jane’s father, is to bereft to return to work, but does anyway. his job? Air traffic controller. the result? Two planes collide mid-air above the city.

Say Something!
