Actor Profile: Kristin Wiig

Today is Kristin Wiig’s birthday. I love Kristin Wiig. She’s an actress that will make me go see a film. More people should have given Ghostbusters a chance.

BEST PERFORMANCE:
Her work in The Skeleton Twins is the best she’s done. She pushed her boundaries as a dramatic actress, and will continue to get better and better.

MOST ICONIC PERFORMANCE:
I’d say her stuff on SNL is still her most well known work, but her most well known film role is probably Bridesmaids.

MOST UNDERRATED PERFORMANCE:
This could go to either Welcome To Me or Girl Most Likely. She was good in both, and neither lit up the box office.

BEST PERFORMANCE I’VE HEARD WAS GOOD AND HAVEN’T SEEN
Nasty Baby I heard was a darker role for her, and I haven’t seen it.

WORST PERFORMANCE/FILM:
Probably The Brothers Solomon. I barely remember the film, but I don’t remember it being good. I’m just not sure how bad it really was, though the fact that I have a mental block around the film doesn’t bode well. Though, Zoolander 2 is also a likely candidate.
