You know what today is. It’s the day we are all supposed to post that Justin Timberlake/*NSYNC meme “It’s Gonna Be May”. Don’t worry. I’m here to remind you of useless knowledge to keep your socials on fleek. Also, no one says “on fleek” anymore.
11) history of The World Part 2 (hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
I really feel like someone who is not Mel Brooks wrote the script, had Mel brooks look at it, and possibly punch it up a bit, and then he gave it his blessing. There are so many jokes here that fall flat and just don’t feel like the humor of Brooks. Only one more episode to go.
Episode Grade: C+
10) Reservation Dogs (FX/Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
After focusing on Cheese for an episode, one that really worked, they swapped focus to supporting cast. Though the joke about the catfish lands at the end, and this is the first time I believe I’ve heard the group referred to as the Reservation Dogs, most of this episode didn’t really catch my interest.
Episode Grade: C+
9) Friends (HBo MAX)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Monica really does distract a lot during the Susan/Carol wedding episode. Even Phoebe seems to have an unnecessary storyline. The best moment is with Ross, but one great moment shouldn’t save an entire episode.

8) Weakest Link (NBC/Peacock)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Jane is hilarious as usual, and those contestants were firecrackers. The final round was rough, because it’s never the strongest links. It’s always those who fly under the radar the most.
Episode Grade: B
8) Star Trek Picard (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Data was the standout this time around. Honestly, I’m not even that big of a Next Generation fan, but this final season is like total fan service for those that are.
Episode Grade: B
6) Frasier (Paramount plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Maris continues to play games with Nile’s. Frasier attempts to get a date by calling multiple women, which backfires.
Episode Grade: B+
5) Ghosts (Paramount plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
This is one of the hardest working, tightest ensembles on TV. probably one of the best reasons we need an ensemble award, because ghosts will never get individual acting nominations, because everyone has a different favorite Ghost.
Episode Grade: B+
4) The Traitors: Australia (Peacock)
English Audio Description?: No
I wish this had audio description. However, the clairvoyant member of this group is hilarious. Her actions in episode two prove she’s lost her damn mind. First, she tries to declare that the spirits have told her how the teams should be for the challenge. And when they don’t win, she blames the team for not listening to her spirits. Then she walks around saying she knows who the Traitors are, without revealing anything. She refuses to talk at the table until it’s time to reveal her vote, at which point she names four people, none of whom are actually Traitors, and then asks to leave the room. For anyone who believes in second sight, this show will break you. She’s terrible at it.
Episode Grade: A-
3) Class Of 07 (Amazon)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Is the apocalypse happening? in episode 2, the girls seems to function like it is, with the events bringing out the worst in all of them. They need to fix their clean water situation, or lack thereof, since most of them are dunk or high.
Episode Grade: A-
2) The Equalizer (CBS/Paramount Plus)
English Audio description?: Yes
The best episode of the season had Aunt Vi front and center as she tries to help a batttered wife escape her incredibly dangerous husband, who beats her and their son. It’s a tough episode to watch, and this guy is like a killer in a scary movie. He always seems to know where you are.
Episode Grade: A-
1) Succession (HBO MAX)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Finally started into the fourth and final season of the show. This truly has great audio description, and I know the third episode will break me. My favorite actor is in this cast. It’s amazing how Kendall and Roman can have a conversation that seems like they’re saying absolutely nothing useful, but it turns out it really is important. Also, did I mention the audio description? it’s great.
Final Grade: A
