Today, i plan on attending a virtual conference held by the ACB and the Audio Description project, in which I will get to hear representatives from streaming services talk about their commitment to Audio Description. I’m a little intrigued by Paramount Plus/Showtime, but I’m super excited to hear Hulu talk about how ‘committed” they are.

Girl, you can’t even get AD onto a Hulu original like The Clearing. Come on now.

14) Ripley (PBS)

Honestly, I sat down with my mom as she was trying to watch the first episode of this new PBS series. it was on demand, so of course it didn’t have AD, and it was boring as all hell. She typically enjoys British TV, but isn’t planning on watching another episode. She is a big fan of Endeavor though, which I’m sure she’ll watch without me.

12) Gremlins: Secrets of The Mogwai (MAX)

I don’t see myself sticking with this. As much as I’d love a Gremlins TV show, this one seems very aimed at kids, and people who don’t know what one is. The second episode spends a lot of time explaining the rules of care. So this is not a nostalgic trip, but an attempt to bring this series to a new generation of fans.

What an awful ending. I mean, i can see what they were trying to do with Hannah’s character, but it just doesn’t make any sense, and I’m not really sure they care. She’s putting a lot of faith in a criminal she just met, and him vouching for dangerous people she’s never met.

10) Fatal Attraction (Paramount Plus)

Status: No Idea. This feels like it has to be limited.

In the penultimate episode, everything hits the fan, and Joshua Jackson feels like he’s about to go scorched earth. plus, his case in the present doesn’t quite go according to plan. Who knows how this show will end.

Wilson’s niece drives Wilson’s dad’s old Studebaker over as a surprise birthday gift, though she ends up being the best surprise as Wilson wants to spend time getting to know his niece, which annoys Tim who wants to work on the classic car.

8) 1 Star Reviews (VICE)

I randomly watched an episode of a show where this guy goes around to places with a lot of horrible one star reviews, and tries them out for himself, and gives the owners a chance to explain. in both instances, I felt like he just gave the businesses a pass, like online reviews are bullshit. Some of it was unintentionally entertaining, like his strong desire to try and get a microphone on a boat captain.

Emotions run high in the first Thanksgiving without their mother. Ephram tries so hard to make it the same, but Delia just misses her mom too much. Ephram also has no idea that Amy is about to drop him, at least for the time being. Their relationship is so complicated.

Nick Fury and Maria hill are apparently the only Avenger types available to stop a terrorist plot from a radical Skrull who is looking to wipeout humans so Skrullss can take over Earth. Seriously, why have all these heroes if they never show up when the world is in danger?

After being caught raiding Watergate, things start falling down. My favorite moment was Liddy hiding behind a tree on the golf course, just biding his time.

A backstory episode about Bobby and how he got here, after being suspended in the previous episode. He seems to be a good guy, and the scenes with him seeing his family being carried out of their building was very effective. Peter Krause did some excellent work here.
