This time it wasn’t just the shootouts that rendered this episode unwatchable, but also a car explosion. Did it kill anyone? It sounded like Neal McDonaugh was in a car, got out, and then it exploded. I would think he would be standing too close. But I don’t know, because this show is inaccessible. I’m just here to pick up as much of the vibes that I can before I watch City primeval.

Has the added benefit of having me in the group of people who have already seen this show. I probably should have this as unwatchable, since there’s this extended sequence of just music where we don’t know what’s happening.I also don’t love the episode. It has a rare appearance by Buffy’s dad, who says she was moody all summer. I don’t think he ever comes back. A very weird season two opener, regardless.

Look, I’m not expecting a lot from this show. But, the opening to this episode is too awful to ignore. Why is Lexie the only person not on oxygen? She was literally smoking weed, then being strangled, and was in the room where the fire started. you’re telling me that the kids downstairs got it worse than her? Come the fuck on. Her little sister is on life support, and she’s just walking around like inhaling smoke is her superpower. Then, her conversation with Jake gets even more dumb. Now, Jake, Lexie, and Devan are all aware Chucky is alive. And they are working together. The good news is at least Devan’s mom can calm her massive Jake boner, since the cop was killed while she was interrogating Jake, giving him an alibi. I knew that cop would be next.

S2E4. I’m pretty sure we don’t need to be talking about some bodily fluid/substance that Siri secretes that creates Witchers. Isn’t she just a little young for that conversation? I know I felt icky. Meanwhile, lots of racism toward elves, and Yennifer tries to get her and some others smuggled out.

I’m not sure why jo never throws the other guy under the bus for lying to her about where the op was taking place, but she gets to see her daughter for a minute before running off to deal with some terrorists down in Texas.

No real explanation of who was injured in the final moments of the previous episode, but I assumed Ace. But when we see him now, he’s chilling in a ransacked hotel room. So, I have no idea. that’s why audio description is so important, oh benevolent ones at Starz. But, I can’t deny that the scene between Jack and Ace was really good, and Jack seemed to really start to make some self truths. The episode ends with his past biting him in the ass, and his league worried about the perception of Crystal having to fight men.

Lots of hubbub about the song choice from the previous episode,and now Selena has to apologize to Finland. There’s also a foreign policy issue to navigate. Gary Cole swings in for his usual dry sense of delivering bad news like it’s somehow below him and he doesn’t want to deal with it. The stress of the job is taking to Selena, who is finding time to sneak cigarettes.

I really wish Troy and Abed had their own show, or spinoff movie. Watching Troy be devestated to find out that Abed is oddly athletic and beating him at everything was the best part of the episode, especially the reference to over The Top. Meanwhile, Annie has been tasked with condom demonstration at an STD event, but actually has no experience putting a condom on a penis, so she breaks in to practice on the doll. And, Jeff realizes he’s tired of dating dumb women just because they are hot.

1) Full Circle (MAX)

Lots of big moments in the finale. A couple more deaths, some arrests, and Sam comes to terms with just how evil she is, and wants to atone for her bullshit so she can be free of her sins. I’m not sure this was the ending I was expecting or even wanted, but I loved that in every episode, Steven Soderbergh made choices I didn’t expect, and went often the road less traveled. It wasn’t just a beat for beat easy to follow thriller, but rather a well crafted ensemble bringing a story to life.
