Friday The 13th was a very unlucky day for one show. Apple pulled the plug on The After Party after two seasons. I’m not really sure why. It always baffles me when a show I see having a strong social media presence among the people in my feed gets cancelled, because it seems so rare that they ever bother to post about shows. but, while the new season was running, I had friends who were really into it. And I can’t say that for most of Apple plus’s programming (even if I’m a fan).

I’ve had this show down here a bunch because it needs audio description. It’s hard to follow shootouts. And just random things, like being handcuffed (which i found out was to a tree). Plus, I’m feeling salty since Hulu jacked up its price again and still makes little to no effort to acquire audio description for titles that aren’t Hulu. Plenty of films hit the service that have existing tracks, but they just won’t use them.

Aside from David Schwimmer’s performance, this episode was mostly about the continued splitting up of Ross and Rachel, and also a rich guy the same age as the group. I’m in Season 3, realizing that Ross and Rachel probably spent more time broken up than together, yet feel like an iconic couple.

We need to do some pre screening or something. Sherri Shepard shouldn’t be anywhere near this game, and her performance proved it. She spent a lot of time negative. Also, whoever is getting paid to do the audio description here is getting the easiest job. They almost never speak. You will forget the show has audio description.

So I’m guessing her new guy, who seems pretty high up in the Department of Defense is sticking around for a while. in the leap, Ben stops a bank robbery from turning deadly.

In the season finale, Guillermo is still hiding from Nandor, and everyone seems to know where he’s hiding except Nandor, as they all pay him a farewell visit. Meanwhile, Nandor waits for Guillermo at Panera, and instead mistakes Patton oswalt for him. By the end of the episode, Guillermo has to make a tough choice. Vampire or human?
