The Sandman- While this is typically some flawless writing, there’s a glitch in the description. *spoilers* When the furies are tearing apart the dreaming, they reach Cain and Abel, and kill Abel, telling him it will be his final death, no resurrection. Cain manages to get away. however, in a later scene, just moments later, when the main dream cast is escaping, it incorrectly labeled Abel. Cain was with Lucianne, The Corinthian, etc. It’s a small thing, but someone fell asleep in the QC phase… would be my guess. Just guessing. It was a brief nod though, because the rest was really good.
Dexter Resurrection- Dexter finds a creative yet obvious way of helping his son. I’m just really excited Peter Dinklage is here.
Chief Of War- It’s borderline. I think because I keep mentally comparing it to a much better show isn’t helping. I cannot follow this cast to save my life, though it is helping that more of them are using English, so I can hear the uniqueness of their voices.Excellent AD. Will I finish? I don’t know.
The Summer I turned Pretty- Our little duo is moving forward with wedding plans, but Belly’s mom doesn’t want to have anything to do with it, and she can’t stand the idea of marrying without either of their mothers there. Jer tries to mend some fences, but will it work? Does it? And how does Con feel about it? These are the most important questions of our time.
Washington Black- Love the track, the show is… trying to stay on the Fresh side. I still think this would have worked better in shorter form, and the fact that some of these episodes are only 30 minutes… for a drama… just reinforces my idea that they are stretching.
Pop Culture Jeopardy- A show where they have a category about sounds, and one team gets “the sound Wolverine’s claws make” initially wrong, only for it to later be overturned by the judges. Only on Pop Culture Jeopardy. Roundabout does fine here.
