Peacemaker- Peacemaker is still reeling from his fight at the end of the last episode, and we do touch base with everyone in an episode that doesn’t quite advance the overall arc, but does bring the crew closer together. My favorite moments were Eagley, who I thought might be in danger in a certain scene, until he wiped the floor with everyone. that’s a bad ass bird. Tim Meadows made me laugh through all his stuff about bird blindness, and his refusal to call anyone by their actual name, and I also loved the scene between Hardcort and the lady who just kept getting in her business. Also, the running gag with the alien and the dead cats. I’m glad this show is back, and the AD is really good.

Chief Of War- Honestly, I’ve been struggling with this series, and its large ensemble.it’s hard for me to remember each character, especially going a full week between episodes. I don’t usually binge watch, but this might be a better binge watch. Never underestimate the power of facial recognition. It’s a lot easier in these broad ensemble works to remember who is who. I had a similar problem with Dune Prophecy. The AD is firing on all cylinders in both accounts, it just is hard to convey everything through description, so we can remember every character. I did have this problem a bit on Shogun, but I also was able to follow more key characters. Here, I feel like I’m constantly just trying to find Jason Momoa.

The Summer I turned pretty- Talked to some Gen Z kids about this, and this was something they actually watch. I’m always intrigued to hear what Gen Z is actually watching since so many of their shows exist, but are they actually watching them? A gaggle of girls I know certainly are. We had a lively conversation about who Belly needs to end up with. I asked them what other shows they watch, and while some were predictable (basically any reality show), one of them mentioned The O.C., and apparently that whole thing has turned into meme material for their generation. Who would have thought. They’re going back and rewatching The O.C. One show they weren’t watching? Bel Air.

Hitmakers- So I’m not really interested in the show anymore, but I like the songs, but I’m also not sure if any of the songs are ever getting recorded. hitmakers is putting out some bangers, but what happens to them? I think this might just be a fruitless effort.

Match Game- Dear AD Team: since you’re not making great description, you could make helpful description. if one of the celebrities writes down an answer and never says what it is, it might be a good idea for you to fill in the gap. If I could see, I would be able to see their sign. So, I need you, to do the actual function of audio description, and bridge the gap. thank you kindly. This is truly not a hard task.

Who Wants To Be A Millionaire- Again, AD Team, if you truly want to be helpful, the best way to do it is to make sure you always get that 50/50 unless it is read aloud, as well as the results of Ask the Audience. This is the actual functionality needing focus. Nothing else matters quite as much as the actual answers, because most people are trying to play along at home.

Say Something!
