TV Shows Watched: Silo: S3E9 (Apple) with audio description, Stuart Fails: S1E6 (HBO MAX) with audio description, Elle: S1E4 (Amazon) with audio description, St Dennis Medical: S2E14 (Peacock) with audio description

Silo- I’m not a scientist, and it has been a while since I stayed at a Holiday Inn Express, but with the modicum of research I’ve done, the final sequence is nonsense. Thrilling, sure, but nonsense. The blast radius would never hit them where they are. A certain person made a big show of reinforcing how out in the middle of nowhere they basically were, due to the buying up of farmland, and the need for all this uninhabited land. It puts them too far away, sorry. Also, eventually, they’ll need to clean around that tree. Must be pretty crowded around that tree by now.The audio description was fine, and I really tried to vaguely address my minor issues without heavy spoilers.

Stuart Fails- The gang is in a universe that seems delightful, except they have to chew their cud. Stuart is mostly fine with chewing the cud as long as he gets the girl, which leads to a bit of a divide, needing to be resolved by Stuart trying to save the universe again. Love this AD track. It has been a minute since I’ve actually wanted to watch opening credits.

elle- It’s almost there, but first Elle needs a dress to seal the deal, but it can’t come right out and say Homecoming. In an attempt to bump up her Cosmo submission, Elle hopes to bring Homecoming to Seattle, but it might be hard to do that. Compromise. Elle fights with her Mom, frets over romantic prospects, and H-O-L-Y S-H-I-T does this episode end on a dark note. all of a sudden, Elle just goes to a very abrupt, really dark twist at the end of episode 4. Like… Wow. Media Access Group does a lovely job with Elle’s outfits, by the way.

St Dennis Medical- Matt gets his first ride along in an ambulance, so Bruce tags along, and hilarity ensues. Also, there’s a battle over the perfect pen, and Joyce has a problem with the best person for the new Midwife position.

Best- Stuart Fails.I didn’t dislike anything today, even St Dennis Medical did a better than average job for this episode. Some lovely beats brought to life, but Stuart Fails had some fun with the more bovine elements.
