It’s a perfect example of a good on paper Oscar contender that ends up not really materializing into anything. Just to clarify. Yesterday, I mentioned Alert, and how I bailed due to lack of audio description. I watch “too much TV”, thus the name of the roundup, meaning I rarely get to a show when it drops, unless it’s a big show i make time for like The Mandalorian or Ted Lasso. First, condolences to the family of actor Lance Reddick, who passed away yesterday at the age of 60. he was such a recognizable voice in the TV industry, starring on many of your favorite shows. Certainly, fans of the roundup noticed me last praising his work on the unfortunate Resident Evil adaptation on Netflix. I did notice that Paramount Plus announced that the next season of Star Trek Discovery will be its last.
