Seth Hoffman clearly had some thoughts. Luckily, AMC was willing to listen, because as The Walking Dead: Dead City was sort of headed nowhere, Hoffman stepped in, asked someone to hold his beer, and figured out how to alter the course of a series quickly headed for cancellation. It’s amazing how many people out there have no problem consuming the work of the SAG and WGA but are complaining now because they think actors are little babies. While streaming residuals are a factor, since syndication and linear viewing are down, it is not the only factor. The use of AI technology is a key factor in both guilds. Remember, we are just a few days away from SAG-AFTRA going on strike. There are people currently still working, and those people would stop.
