Well, some good news dropped for two shows. Netflix went ahead and gave XO Kitty a second season, and Apple has officially renewed Silo. Well, Showtime just cancelled a show that premiered over a year ago. I think we all saw that coming. This proves that shows can still be picked up during the writers strike, so I’d love it if ABC could go ahead and pick up Home Economics (and make Casey Wilson a series regular), and NBC can pick up American Auto. Netflix has attempted its first upfront presentation, and to celebrate, they brought what they assumed were good tidings. Ginny and Georgia got a two season renewal, because certainly the world needed more of that. And, Virgin River got an early Season 6 renewal before Season 5 premieres. FOX has given a second season to the comedy Animal Control. Also, Disney is planning on merging Hulu into Disney Plus by the end of the year, and is currently in negotiations to buy out Comcast on their remaining shares. Well, FOX went ahead and renewed their shittiest shows first,making sure that Alert and Accused joined the already shitty and renewed The Cleaning Lady. I’m being a bit harsh.
