As I told you several times during my watching of the now final season of The Wonder Years, summer burn offs are never a good sign. ABC has officially cancelled the reboot after two seasons. Home Economics remains in limbo due to the strike, as ABC has extended the options on the cast.

I just find this show really difficult to follow without audio description. It has such a large cast and a lot going on. It likely is affecting how I’m enjoying the show, as I feel like I’m always missing something. The show is pretty dialogue heavy, but the narration included from our dead Housewife rarely helps.

Arguably no longer about turning pretty, or taking place during summer, the boys have GOT to stop leaving Aunt Julia alone. I’ve become convinced that either one or both of the brothers will murder their aunt at the end of the season. Then again, the writing is so bad, they also might go home with her and start a new life. This episode was mostly Taylor’s quest to smoke weed out of an apple, while people discussed things. It really went nowhere. They just had to leave again, despite the fact that the last time they left Julia alone she removed all the furniture, and this time when they come back she has a buyer. Her character is seemingly intentionally written as a bitch, and her inability to say why she didn’t attend her own sisters funeral and has no problem selling the house just makes her worse every episode. I think even Sky is starting to hate her. I do wonder why the boys mom left the house to her in the will in the first place.

I think Urkel might have been adopted by the Winslow family and they just haven’t said anything. He’s such a dominant force in the Season 2 premiere. He ends the episode wanting to go start up the grill. Dude, it’s not your house. Where are your parents?
