This time, I really didn’t stay up for any grouping of seven people on the same stage. but, I did watch some interesting shows, and we got a better timeline of how quickly some of these other shows are returning to air.

I suppose they had to release the crappy matches at some point so they dumped them both in the same episode. Both of these matchups featured a lot of misses, which made it not very interesting. Pick people who know music. The football players got so many hip hop songs, like they assumed those two wouldn’t be able to guess outside of a single genre.

Now, as an adult with hindsight, I look back at this episode and say “What if Danny had never commented awkwardly on the watch? Then the entire plot wouldn’t work. Once this guy had all these weird skills, I knew the jig was up.

This episode was a little plotless. Finn goes into a secret entrance with Princess Buttercup, and later finds himself pleading with some trolls to stop killing old ladies. This episode was about nothing. It was still kinda cute, but aimless.

In the grand tradition of shows featuring someone who helps the police because they are essentially educated, comes another procedural to bore you to death. Jesse L. Martin is a strong actor and a good lead, but the things we are asked to follow are silly. I’m not entirely sure I’m going to stick with this show. From the very first set up, my reaction was “why doesn’t the guy then make a new demand for baby stuff to be on the helicopter?” But, no, Alec’s superpower is the ability to confuse people into giving up.

Sabine was made a promise by the evil people, and by God, villains have a code where they must honor their promises. So, Sabine is sent off with information to reunite her with Ezra, which becomes the least interesting thing in an episode with hermit crab people and space witches.

Shelter is casting a wide net on this mystery. And, it is expanding the ensemble so I have to care about all these extraneous characters. The mom comes home, but she isn’t quite the same. I still haven’t decided if this shows eccentricities are strengths or weaknesses.

Dan Harmon’s latest felt a little like an animated version of History Of The World, so I think more episodes are needed to really find its footing. It is distracting to hear Matt Barry here, as i just kept hearing his character from what We Do In The Shadows.

A major revelation from meryl Streep’s character in Sitzprobe. The cops show up to interrogate everyone involved, and the gang slowly works their way back together. There were some lines here that really pushed me in a certain direction. One line came from Oliver when he said who Mabel was looking at and she was never wrong, and the other came from Mabel when she said that sometimes the killer inserts themselves into the investigation. Like Todrick?
