House Of The Dragon- Full review dropped yesterday, but this is one hell of an AD track, and for every company that has told me that those big mean studios kept them from putting credits, let it be known, Point 360 got writer, engineer, editor, and performer. What are the rest of you doing with your lives? I want a detailed report on my desk, Monday morning, or you fail the class. Seriously, I listen to shows that have NO credits on them, not even a company. Warner Bros/HBO MAX is chill enough to have this amount of credits, so if you’re providing work for them, why isn’t everyone doing this? Want to keep humans involved in audio description? Remind people every time just how much work went into making that track. Remind people just how human it is.

Maximum Pleasure Guaranteed- One of the few shows I didn’t finish yesterday. Tatiana Maslany is killing it. Jake Johnson is miscast, but I do like the dread and tension the show produces, and the track is fine. This episode didn’t give it that much to do. Still not renewed yet.

Big Mistakes- a bit of a twist there at the end. I like it. Dan Levy’s freshman comedy was better than I thought it would be, but Laurie Metcalf steals the show. The audio description here was done well by Descriptive Video Works. I hope to review the series.

The Bear- I hope to review this as well. Oddly, no credits at the end. But, Disney is doing some shenanigans now with their AD, clearly devaluing our experience. However, it had lovely audio description, I just can’t put my finger on who did it. Hmmmmm.

The Fall And Rise Of Reggie Dinkins- A smart season finale that leaned on its belief it would and did get a second season. It’s goofy, smart, and I like how it evolved. The AD is pretty decent, though I believe uncredited. It’s hard to tell with Peacock if I actually got through the credits.

Last Week Tonight- No AD. John Oliver mostly discusses the state of our DOJ, and updates us on how Bucky’s still irrationally sues every small business it can.AD is added later.

American Classic- reeling this back in. The Kevin Kline comedy is much better than the attention it got. MGM Plus hasn’t announced a renewal yet, so fingers crossed.

Best: House Of The Dragon- Because it is. It jsut is. Even without the credits, it’s a great track.

Worst: There isn’t a bad track of the bunch here. The weakest would be Reggie Dinkins, which is battling its format often and trying to stay above water, which it mostly does. But, it still isn’t a bad track, it just has a difficult format.
