I always enjoy being able to drop some TV knowledge at the top. Freeform has cancelled The Watchful Eye and Single Drunk Female. Neither one of these had audio description. So, no love lost.
16) Clone High (MAX)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Rumored To Have Been A Two Season Order
This was tough to declare a loser on a day where I managed 16 different episodes, but as Clone High continues to underdeveloped the new characters and keep them as far away from their original non-clones as possible, it really makes you wonder what the point of all this is? Like, they go out of their way to have a JFK that speaks somewhat like Kennedy, but Harriet Tubman is afraid of day drinking? What is happening? The Heebie Jeebie monster did nothing for this episode, and that celebrity cameo and real phone number does lead to a prerecorded message from that actor. Fun fact.

15) Trophy Wife (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
Quirky Jackie may have met someone who actually finds her endearing, while the other ex-wife is freakishly good at beer pong.

14) Dinosaurs (Disney plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
Earl is scared about making suggestions, but basically invents Employee Of The month, only for his boss to stand him up for their special dinner. Meanwhile, Junior adopts a human. Nothing was really wrong with this episode. It was just fine.

13) The Golden Girls (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Ended
Blanche is getting flowers from a secret admirer but this doesn’t end the way you would think. Kind of a nice sweet ending.

12) Blindspotting (Starz)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Not Yet Renewed
Audio Description would be nice. But, sadly that didn’t exist for this fanciful episode about a young son trying to break his dad out of jail… Wild West style. It felt like a kids imagination, so I give it points for that, but it was also hard to follow without audio description.
Episode Grade: B
11) Dave (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: not Yet Renewed
Cameos all over the place! A wild take on the Met gala made for a much more fun than usual episode of Dave. Rachel McAdams? I did not see that cameo coming. Some others made sense. but Rachel?

10) Fatal Attraction (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
I can’t imagine needing another season of this. I ahve two episodes left though. We got a lot of flashback to the time when Jackson’s attorney is first accused, and his world starts to fall apart, and in the present with him chasing down leads, including someone that may have had a past with her, as well as a food delivery guy.
Episode Grade: B
9) XO Kitty (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Renewed
This show is growing on me, but this one wealthy girl has the worst parents. When her mom calls her in to take away her credit card, i mean, yes she did have him write the paper, but the rest of the conversation was unnecessary, and I instantly disliked her. Now with Dae made at Kitty, this is too early for all of this. It was a nice moment to see him taping up his little sister’s shoe, and then his joy at being able to buy his sister a new pair.

8) 911 (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: moving To ABC
Well, S3E1 has no audio description. So, RIP audio description for 911. After two seasons, I ahve a pretty good grasp of these voices, and Angela Bassett looking at her perp and saying “I don’t know if you’re evil or insane, but you are not helping your case either way.” Was just some Angela greatness. Meanwhile, Buck is still physically wrecked from the Season 2 finale, and would rather quit than do a desk job.

7) The Chase (Hulu)

The Chase is back with new episodes! Brandon takes on three, but will any walk away with cash?

6) Doug (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
One of the few things I’m nostalgically rewatching that is working for me. I had no idea how much this show really meant to me as a kid, until I realize I’ve been remembering every episode so far. Like, it’s all coming back to me. I must have watched each episode a couple times as a kid. This one, Doug’s sister wants him to perform with her at school, and Roger frames Doug for stealing a trophy.

5) Cheers (Paramount Plus)

Diane has met her match when a local politician sets her sights on Sam. Part 1 of a two parter. It’s a nail biter. Will Sam choose the series regular, or the new character just introduced?

4) Young Sheldon (MAX)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Renewed
Sheldon is smarter than all of his teachers, so his Principal suggests a private school in Dallas. That would mean, Sheldon has to live with some rando family. Of course, even though this seems like the future of the series, everyone just misses each other so much. It was nice to see this dynamic, as it pushed characters out of their normal comfort zones.

3) Justified (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: no
Status: Revival coming This Month
Raylon uses his dad as an informant. Will this turn out well? Probably not. I also hate that the top 3 shows all domn’t have audio description, but I’m not cheating the system so Young Sheldon wins when these three were better.

2) Everwood (Freevee)
English Audio Description?: No

Colin’s back. he doesn’t remember anything. He can’t even be mad at bright, because those memories don’t exist. Still, Ephram is there for Amy as she struggles through Colin’s return. Also, there’s a great debate about medical marijuana, and Andy makes a stance against Ritalin. Again, this show is 20 years old, and it’s making very 2023 arguments.

1) The Traitors Australia (Peacock)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: unknown
The final five have to get rid of a Traitor. or, depending on who you are rooting for, the last two traitors have to work to not be eliminated. Apparently, unlike the US version which went with a final four, we still have one more round table, meaning one more elimination. This is where everyone gets greedy, but if the two girls actually stuck together, they could easily win this. I don’t think anyone actually believes there are two traitors left. But, that doesn’t matter. If the traitors make it to the finale they win. They can just vote off the remaining faithful if they try to block the vote. One traitor in the finale is a dangerous game. Will they play it smart? or greedy? I love this show.
