not that it’s necessarily relevant, but have I mentioned how much I love the song The Devil Went Down To Georgia? I guess I’ve just got Georgia On my Mind. (When there are strikes happening, apparently TV news is really non-existent)
9) Trophy Wife (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
I actually like this show, and I feel bad when it ends up on the bottom, simply because I didn’t watch as many shows. I know a one-and-done like this likely will never get audio description, but this show deserved more than 1 season.
Episode Grade: B
8) Justified (Hulu)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Revival Now Running
halfway through season 3. This new Oxy centric plot is falling into place, but a lot of people were shot, or shot at this episode, so once again I find myself in the predicament of having to rank this lower, when I’m sure it deserves better. Why am i doing this? It’s important, and the revival actually does have audio description.
Episode Grade: B
7) And Just Like That (Max)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
I know I’m supposed to be happy Aiden is back. I’m not. Charlotte is insufferable this episode, and Miranda makes odd life choices. The rest of the gang were fine, as the new characters are more interesting, but Che didn’t even have that much screentime.
Episode Grade: B
6) Happy Endings (Roku)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Ended
This hilarious episode finds the guys realizing they have a squatter living in the ceiling stealing their food. Alex then tries to go on a date with this guy, thinking he’s a cute struggling artist, but not true. Meanwhile, the other friends get caught up in a swingers plot.
Episode Grade: B+
5) XO Kitty (Netflix)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Renewed
What a clusterfuck of a season finale. Jesus, Kitty and Q have a brief fight as Q realizes his boyfriend cheated, albeit partially because of him and to stay in a safe place where he’s allowed to be gay, but at the expense of Dae, who now loses his scholarship. What scholarship requires you to only be #1? Honestly. And then Kitty is kicked out for living in the boys dorm, though that board does nothing about her roommate having a 24 hour webcam? That can’t be legal. And apparently everyone is in love with Kitty, or Kitty loves them. And even though yuri does the right thing by telling her mother I still am not forgiving to not kick out Kitty, the second season renewal really sealed that for me. I’m sure she’ll come back, and Julianna will be her roommate. So She’ll have to deal with being the roommate to Yuri’s girlfriend. I’m calling that right now.
Episode Grade: B+
4) The Good Wife (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: No
Status: Spinoff coming at Midseason.
I’m giving this episode a slight boost because of its importance to the series, and the fact that not only is this the introduction to Diane’s future husband, played by Gary Cole (who was also in The Good Fight), but it also introduced us to Eli Gold, the enigmatic Alan Cumming. A double hitter. Still needs audio description. What was that beeping? his ankle monitor can’t possibly beep the whole time. Isn’t it just a reminder to charge it?
Episode Grade: A-
3) Good Omens (Amazon)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
Still getting through Season 1. These two are adorable together, even if they are polar opposites. And seeing all the times Crowley has rescued Azraiel over the years was a nice opening for the episode.
Episode Grade: A-
2) The After Party (Apple Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes
Status: Not Yet Renewed
I am enjoying this season a lot. I like how each episode has its own vibe based on who is telling the story.

1) Yellowjackets (Paramount Plus)
English Audio Description?: Yes

Shauna’s lying ass scheme ing husband should be more worried, since she’s proven she’ll go to any length to protect her secret. And, watching the girls tripping balls while trying to hunt down Travis because they think he is food was certainly a moment. This show deserves more Emmy love than it gets.
