Miles just can’t stay away from Rose, which is problematic since Rose’s current boyfriend is the guy trying to kill Miles. Blanche also finds out she has a great grandmother who is a Jewish yank, which keeps her from being a member of a southern heritage women’s group. Honestly, she’s had a lot of yankee inside her already… and yes that is the kind of joke you’d expect for her character.

And we wrap up this show. It’s not DopeSick, but Uzo Aduba did some nice work. I don’t understand people who think Matthew Broderick was better than michael Stuhlbarg. The one thing this show did better than DopeSick was really hammer home how the Sackler’s basically got off because they called in a favor with Rudy Giuliani.

A show that has dealt now with sexual assault, and suicide, and in the first episode has a serious conversation about abortion rights doesn’t tickle my funny bone. However, the writing and acting are excellent.
